If you’re scheduling a few blogs, a Reel here, an IG Story there, and expect (or at least hope) that your business is going to blow up with sales, you might be disappointed.
Sure, we can have quick wins, go viral with a social media post, or gain tonnes of traction with a blog. But guess what? Most businesses aren’t sustained through quick wins and instant results. And do you know what’s an even greater feeling than a quick win? The smug feeling of consistency.
THE TRUTH: Marketing needs consistency
It is the consistent action of moving the needle forward and seeing results build over time.
Okay, it might not feel quite as buzzy as instant results, but trust us, getting into the rhythm of making your marketing sustainable is so much more calm, steady and fulfilling than spinning around in the wilds of the newest marketing trends and jumping on each one you see.
You have to be in it for the long haul with marketing, which leads us onto a helpful Japanese philosophy.
