Grow Your Own | Tips from the team behind Hampshire Gardens

If there’s one thing the team at the Marketing Collective can agree on, it’s that you can’t beat being outdoors.

We love having a potter in our gardens or exploring acres of outdoor space. It’s no great surprise that this mutual passion of ours eventually grew into a project.

In 2016, alongside Visit Englands’ national campaign Year of the English Garden, we launched Hampshire Gardens.

This collaborative marketing campaign brought together public gardens and attractions with green space across the county to showcase what a fantastic destination Hampshire is for garden-lovers.

From the world-famous rhododendrons at Exbury Gardens to the National Collection of old fashioned roses at Mottisfont, Hampshire’s garden beauty is second to none.

Since we planted the Hampshire Gardens seed, this collaborative project has flourished each year with a colourful leaflet, website, and social media channels to show off Hampshire’s finest flora and fauna.

As we’ve nurtured the brand we’ve continued to fall in love with our own gardens, and during a time where we are bound to our homes, there seems no better time to put those green-fingers into action.

Whether you’ve got a garden or simply a window seal, it couldn’t be simpler to grow your own with what you have. It’s also something fun the whole family can get involved with while you’re staying at home.
